چکیده
Abstract Landslide is a geological disaster that still an interesting topic to study its behavior and management, especially for tropical climate regions such as Indonesia. One form of landslide countermeasures the mapping susceptibility. The most commonly used susceptibility method GIS-based weighting classification method. In method, each parameter class has definite weight in reference making vulnerability maps have been issued by BBSDLP (Center Agricultural Land Resources) PVMBG Volcanology Geological Hazard Mitigation). However, exact sometimes does not match real conditions field, so many researchers modify it. For this reason, tries present accuracy comparison land motslide with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) research location Pringapus East Ungaran areas, Semarang Regency. results showed using 77.58% while AHP better 84.48%.

A GIS-based comparative study of the analytic hierarchy process, bivariate statistics and frequency ratio methods for landslide susceptibility mapping in part of the Tehran metropolis, Iran
The high hillsides of the Tehran metropolis are prone to landslides due to the climatic conditions and the geological, geomorphologicalcharacteristics of the region. Therefore, it is vitally important that a landslide susceptibility map of the region be prepared. For thispurpose, thematic layers including landslide inventory, lithology, slope, aspect, curvature, distance to stream, distance to ...

A comparative study of Analytical Hierarchy Process and Ordinary Least Square methods for landslide susceptibility mapping using GIS technology
Abstract: This work presents Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method available in Geographic Information System (GIS) to identify and classify the Penang Island according to the grade of present or potential danger of land failure happening. Landslide susceptibility zonation map has been generated by considering seven factors. Sensitivity analysis was performed in detail by varying the contri...
